The quality of my life — and my son Ben’s — has not been determined by the dramatic events that have happened (such as his father’s death) but by how we chose to respond to them -- and who we became in the face of them.
Our strength and resilience didn’t happen by accident.
They happened by intention.
The insights and tools I gathered and created are what helped us rise above, together.
The seas still of course get stormy, but we ride the waves.
These skills helped us weather the pandemic with grace and grit.
